  • Our season begins March 31st and continues through October.
  • All trips are walk/wade.
  • We practice catch & release fly-fishing with barbless hooks.
  • 50% deposit required.
  • 3 week notice required for refund.
  • Balance due the end of the day.
Things to bring:
  • We recommend breathable waist or chest-high waders. Felt or other non-slip boots are required.
  • Warm fleece garments and a rain jacket, hat and polarized sun glasses
  • Insect repellant and sun screen
  • Fly rods: 3-5 wt. rods
  • Valid PA or MD fishing license with appropriate stamps. PA licenses may be purchased on line at www.fish.state.pa.us. Maryland licenses may be purchased on line at www.dnr.state.md.us.
  • Bring your favorite flies or there are several well-stocked fly shops in the area.
Stream locations:

Freestone Fly-fishing guides on the following south central Pennsylvania streams: Yellow Breeches Creek, Big Spring, Green Spring, Falling Spring, Letort Spring Run, East Branch of Antietam, Conewago Creek, Codorus Creek, and Clark’s Creek.

Trips can also be arranged to fish these north central Pennsylvania streams: Slate and Cedar Run, Pine Creek, Fishing Creek, Penn’s Creek, Spring Creek, Spruce Creek, and the little Juniata River. We also fish the following Maryland streams: “The Stream of the Presidents”—Big Hunting Creek, the Gunpowder River and Owen’s Creek.
